  Start-up Business Class

 

• Requirement for membership in the Start-up Business Class

   a)  Have to have a commitment certificate from

      i) A Designated angel investor group investing at least $75,000 in a qualifying business or tow or more angel                       investor groups investing together a total of at least $75,000

​

     ii) A designated venture capital fund investing at least $200,000 in a qualifying business or two or more venture                   capital groups investing together a total of at least $200,000

​

   iii)  A designated business incubator accepting the applicant into its business incubator program

​

   b)  At least CLB 5 of language skill

 

   c)  Qualifying business

 

   d)  Must have sufficient funds to economically establish themselves in Canada.

 

 

  QuebecEntrepreneur

 

• Requirements

   a) New worth $300,000 (alone or with accompanying spouse or common-law partner)

​

  b) At least 2 years of experience in running a business (agricultural, industrial or commercial) that you manage, alone        or with accompanying spouse or common-law partner, controlling at least 25% of the capital equity

​

  c) Have actual and full-time experience in planning, management and control of material, financial and human                resources

​

  d) Submit business projects to create a new business or buy an existing one and manage it full-time on a daily basis (if        business was purchased under similar program within the last 5 years is not acceptable)

​

  e) Applicant must own 25% of Quebec business with a minimum value of $100,000

​

  f) In 1 of the 3 years after receiving PR: Candidates must acquire or create a business employ 1 Quebec resident (other       than family member) full-time
