Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
The Provincial nominee class is designed to enable provinces to support the immigration of persons who have expressed an interest in setting in their province. PNP programs allow Canadian provinces and territories to select people who will be able to contribute to the economic development and prosperity of their province and Canada.
* Quebec has sole responsibilities to select immigrants.

The Atlantic Immigration Pilot is a partnership between the Government of Canada and the four Atlantic provinces:
- New Brunswick
- Newfoundland and Labrador
- Nova Scotia
- Prince Edward Island
Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program
It helps Atlantic employers hire qualified candidate for jobs they haven't been able to fill locally. Before employers make a job offer, they must be designated by the provincial government of the Atlantic province where the candidate will be working. There are three programs employer can use to hire someone.
